Ruby is no fan of rehearsals, as they rob the music of spontaneity. He records reinterpretations on a whim, and releases the resulting disasters under the title ‘Ruby’s Angels.’ Let us hope his improvised album, ‘The United States of Dysphoria,’ will never see the light of day.
